Terms
Short version: use the free pages and tools as much as you like. Products you buy are for your own household. Cook with care: you know your kitchen, your stove and the people at your table better than any page can.
Using the site
The pages, tools and free printables are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may print them for your own kitchen and share links freely. Please do not republish our text, tables or designs as your own.
Food, safety and allergens
Our guides and ratios are general information, not professional, medical or dietary advice. Check labels for allergens and follow the storage instructions on store-bought products. Handle hot oil, open flames and tabletop burners with care. Heat and spice are a table preference. If you have questions about a particular person's diet, including a child's, ask a qualified professional.
A recipe carries our 已试 “cooked at our table” seal only after we have made it ourselves and logged it on the kitchen log. Draft amounts are marked 待试.
Buying digital products
- Who sells to you. Our checkout partner, Polar, is the merchant of record. Polar sells the product to you, takes payment, and handles sales tax, VAT and invoices. Polar's buyer terms apply to the transaction.
- Your licence. Each purchase gives one household a personal, non-transferable licence to download, print and use the files. You may give a printed copy as a gift. Please do not resell, redistribute or upload the files elsewhere.
- Refunds. See the refund policy: 14 days, no questions asked.
- Updates. If we correct or improve a file, buyers can download the new version at no charge.
Liability
We work hard to be accurate and we correct mistakes publicly on the kitchen log. The site and products are still provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Gentle Hearth is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
